Concluded his last race of the season in the European Tournament, we had the opportunity to inteview Emil Weckmanpromising young talent of the Lovemytraining roster.

Next year he will be debuting in MX2, so we are interested in knowing more about this season’s results and his expectations on this new chapter of his racing career.

What are your plans for the winter break?

I am taking a couple weeks off and in december we’ll start with a light physical training, then back to riding in order to mantain muscles and reflexes.

The season will start pretty early next year: we don’t have time to loose.

Are you satisfied of your performance this year?

Well, I had some ups and downs because of the injury. That certainly affected my performance, but overall I gave my best and I’m happy of what I achieved. Looking forward to next season.

You will be competing in the MX2 class soon: what are your expectations?

I already competed in a couple of MX2 races and I know the level is high.

We are training really hard with Yves and getting better by the day, so my goal is to reach the Top 10.

How is training with a 3-times World Champion and how does he support you?

Yves has his unique personality, fit for a World Champion. He supports me and the Lovemytraining team in every way he can, both on track and in everyday life.

It is a honor to have to possibility to learn from him and the progress we are making shows it.

We expect great things for next season, stay tuned!

We can’t wait to root for #125 in his deput in MX2 and see what he’s got.

Good luck Emil! Go go go!
