Since the start of our partnership with Team Ship To Cycle Honda SR Motoblouz, our young riders have been experiencing new sport scenario and dealing with the world of motocross in a more professional, career- focused way.

For that we have to thank Josse Sallefranque, Team Manager and longtime rider and stuntman who has been working in the world of motorsports all his life. We had the opportunity to interview him, getting to know more about his carreer in motorsports and the foundation of his team:

Let’s begin, Josse. Tell us about your career in the motorsports world. How did it start?

I started riding at the age of 4 thanks to my father, a huge fan of motocross and motorsports in general. From that moment, I knew that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

I succeeded in placing in the Top 5 of the young categories in the French championship and I took part in some MXGP. I was French Supercross Champion in 2012 and one of my best memories is my victory at the Paris-Bercy Supercross.

Your team achieved great results since its foundation in 2011. Which of these makes you most proud?

Yes, it’s been quite a ride!

Since the creation of the team, we won 10 times the French championship and we have been competing in MXGP for 3 years now. We have finished 2 times in the top 10 in the championship and a got a GP podium in Argentina, which is the achievement I’m most proud of.

What are your expectations on this new MXGP season?

For the next season, the objective is to finish in the Top 10 MX2 and MXGP. We trained a lot and we will do our utmost so that the riders are best supported to reach their highest performance and bring home the results.

Two new riders joined Team Ship To Cycle last year: what are your thoughts on Emil, Stephen and Lovemytraining?

I am happy to work with the Lovemytraining team and with our 2 new drivers.

Thanks to LMT, the drivers are supervised and trained to have the best results possible.

Stephen and Emil are two talented riders with a great motivation to succeed in the world championship: they are showing grit and are ready for next season. I’m sure we will achieve great results together.

We are glad to have Josse and his team by our side, as this is a great opportunity for our riders!

Good luck for season 2022 everyone!
