The second stage of the World Championship in Mantova ended and Stephen Rubini managed to take our breath once again!
MX2 of Lombardia started with a fall in race 1 which made Stephen lose many position, but he didn’t gave in and kept fighting: from being last, turn after turn, #38 recovered many positions but ended his race in P16.
Positioned far behind at the starting grid, Rubini showed us that, despite the importance of your starting position, there is nobody you cannot overtake: he fought for the whole second race, even reaching P5, and ended his performnce in Italy in P10.
A satisfying race for the French rider, who finishes thirteenth in the GP and leaves Mantova tenth in the World Cup.
Josse Sallefranque, Team Manager: “Not a great first moto for Stephen who crashed twice, but in the second one he fights inside the top ten during thirty minutes to finish in the top ten so happy with this result, we remain in our goal to score top ten results.”
Good job, Stephen! Keep going!
