Emil was born in Sipoo, Finland.
He got his first bike at the age of 3 and started competing when he was 6 years old. Emil is the EMX150 European champion of 2015 & 2016 & Dutch champion in 125cc of 2018.
The collaboration between Emil and the Lovemytraining Academy started at the end of 2020. Emil competed in the EMX250 European championship and in the Italian championship (MX2) during the 2021 and 2022 season as member of Team Ship To Cycle Honda SR Motoblouz and in the MX2 World Championship in 2023.
