After the great performance of Maggiora, Team Ship To Cycle Honda SR and Lovemytraining traveled down to Sardinia for the 8th stage of MXGP 2022!
We surely had a warm welcome: the temperature remained above 28C° for the whole weekend, putting a huge toll our Stephen’s and the other riders’ performance. In addition, our rider had to face a pretty difficult sand track, which is definitely not his favourite.
We knew that this stage would be different from Maggiora, but #38 did not give up to the adverse conditions and kept fighting turn after turn, giving his best for the whole GP: qualified 12th in the Warmup race, Rubini managed to find a good rhythm and pulled out a consistent race, obtaining P12 in the GP and mantaining his 9th position on the World Championship billboard.
The whole team will be at the next stage of Spain in two weeks. Hope to see you there!
