Just a week after a disappointing weekend for him in Italy, Stephen Rubini had perfect rebounds in Vesoul where he took his second overall win after Castelnau. Fastest in time trials, Stephen confirmed his speed riding a 450 with two second places in each moto and won the overall classification ahead of his teammate Valentin Guillod. After strong performances in the last two GPs, Valentin scored his fourth consecutive podium in the French series in Vesoul, with a win in race two and a second place overall-he was leading the first moto before a crash-which allows him to be the new championship leader in the series with three rounds still to go. Returning to the French Elite after missing the previous round in Romagné, Emil Weckman also scored a podium with a second-place finishing behind the championship series leader; having recovered from fourth to second in race one, Emil remained for most of the second moto in first position, which he finished in second place.

Josse Sallefranque: “How not to be happy? A weekend like that rewards the riders but also the mechanics and the staff for the work done since this winter, and that kind of results also rewards all our partners! Valentin and Stephen shared the honors in MX1, Emil confirmed his potential with this podium in MX2, it’s a great achievement to see our three riders on the podium. We must now continue like this!”
