We are happy to announce a new collaboration between the Team Honda SR Motoblouz and Ship To Cycle, a Swiss company specialized in door-to-door bike transport services worldwide. As the new team’s main sponsor, Ship To Cycle will give its name to the team, which will now be called Ship To Cycle Honda SR Motoblouz Racing Team. The main sponsor will be joined by two other brands close to the world of cycling: BEX – Bike Escape Experience and Lovemytraining.

BEX, organiser of guided mountain bike tours, will be responsible for creating experiences within the world of motocross, bringing together the two disciplines (motocross and cycling).

The Lovemytraining sports academy, on the other hand, will make available the experience of its trainer Yves Demaria, three-times motocross world champion, who will continue to train Stephen Rubini and Emil Weckman, new entries in the Ship To Cycle Honda SR Motoblouz team.

The two MX2 riders will join Benoit Paturel, who will continue to ride for the team next season in MXGP, where after returning from injury, he finished in the top twenty for the 2021 championship. Frenchman Stephen Rubini and Finnish Emil Weckman join the team to race the entire MX2 World Championship on CRF250R Honda. Stephen who will turn 23 next year will do his last season in the MX2 class, while Emil will jump from the European to the World Championship; despite a back injury during the season, Emil got some very good results and had a first taste of GP’s with a few wild cards.

Pier Carlo Bottero, CEO of Ship To Cycle, BEX and founder of Lovemytraining: We are excited to start this new adventure together supporting Josse and the team with our 360° experience in logistics and sport projects. This collaboration is born out of passion and the desire to develop a wider and stronger network between the two sports.

Josse Sallefranque, Manager of Team Honda SR Motoblouz: “After three great seasons in the World Championship, we are happy to join forces with Ship To Cycle. The bicycle is a fundamental part of the training of motocross athletes as it is used between one GP and another, especially in races where the time spent abroad is long, to maintain physical performance, but also in the post-race, to unload the accumulated muscular effort.

Ship to Cycle can take care of the transport of our team’s bikes within the Motocross World Championship, making life easier for riders and for us who don’t have to worry on how to transport their bike around races and can focus only on the performance.”
