We are happy to report that last weekend our pole vaulter Great Nnachi stood on the podium ahead of all other competitors with a jump of 4.10 meters at the “Asta in piazza” event held last Saturday in Aosta, Italy. The event is included in the calendar of the World Athletics Federation.
Great has been participating in this competition since the age of 15, and it was here that she set the Italian record in the cadet category.
With a personal best of 4.30, Great attempted the 4.33 measure three times, the second best height in the world and first in the European junior category.
