During the training a few days ago, Stephen crashed into an amateur rider who was riding side ways. This crash made him hit the fences and he crashed quite bad out of the track. The result: a broken vertebrae (C6) and a damaged nerve in the shoulder.

Stephen: ” It’s been a long few days before I could get my surgery because it was difficult to find out what exactly I had. But yesterday in the afternoon I finally made it, the surgeon was happy and everything went well. I can start rehab from now.”

We are glad that Stephen is fine now and we wish him to get well as soon as possible!
