It was a though weekend for our riders Valentin Guillod and Emil Weckman the MXGP of Sardinia, in Riola Sardo, Italy, who were tested by the sandy track from the circuit.
Valentin Guillod in MXGP crashed at the start of Race 1 and finished in 17th position, while in Race 2 he fell with 5 laps to go losing 2/3 positions and ending 18th (18th overall).
Emil Weckman in MX2 had a good and smooth first race finishing 11th, while in race 2 he crashed at the start and concluded 12th (12th overall).
Let’s see what happens in two week-ends on the harder terrain of the Swiss circuit of Frauenfeld where Valentin and Emil will be joined by their team mate Stephen Rubini, who will be competing in the top category for the first time.
